I had a conversation with a member today who has a 8 week old baby. She had an experience that is a typical example of a situation that many women that work hard to take care of their health are confronted with on a regular basis.
While meeting with girlfriends & other women, she was asked by another woman that also has a 8 week old baby if she wants a piece of cake. She replied no thank you. I do not eat cake during the week. To the disbelief of this woman, who i will say is clearly not happy with herself because of the weight she gained during the pregnancy and the weight she added because she does not give any effort to eating healthier. The woman then made with a very sassy voice the comment, so thats why you are so skinny.
SYPC ladies that train and eat healthy, there is a big difference between being in shape and being skinny. There is also a big difference between being happy with yourself and not being happy with yourself.
I hope you understand my message. The minute you stop caring about what other people think, you start being yourself. And don’t forget: when someone judges you, it isn’t about you. It is mainly about them and their own insecurities, limitations and needs.
