Thanks for the article . I live in Norwich , Vt and am of the opinion that the town uses way too much salt on our roads. I have 5 apple trees next to my road and a huge garden adjacent to the apple trees. I am VERY concerned that the salt buildup will affect both.I agree/second the comment above. While home/whole-house battery backup systems are certainly a developing industry, there are many increasingly affordable, technologically advanced, and safe systems out there. Of course, one should always do their research before installing something into their house, however the system design mentioned in the article frankly has “bad idea” written all over it. Furthermore, current generation LiFePO4 batteries cannot explode or ignite like traditional (older) Lithium Ion batteries can. Sounds to me like there were several ways things could go wrong in the system mentioned in the article… and unfortunately they did, but this is certainly not indicative of all modern battery backup systems.You had me at “…the intellectual adventure is as compelling….”Spec fic is, of course, at heart a game of speculation about the character of reality, or other realities, either in dialogue or by portrayal.I’ll be ordering a copy of this one, and thanks for the review!Well, thank you, Ingrid!
