SYPC is turning 3 today. Unbelievable how time flies. If I would be asked to write a personal post in reference to the 3 year anniversary of SYPC, then it would definitely have to be named:
Blood, Sweat & 3 Years (this is by the way the title of an album by Cash Cash)
Fitness is my blood, fitness is what makes my heart pump every day. It is so deep inside of me and my body, that I could not live without. And this is what I want to transfer to you ladies. At first you just start working out because you want to loose weight or have a flat belly. But little do you know. Strength (also mental), happiness, power and confidence is what you get. And then you realise: wow, there is more to it than just a workout. It flows into all areas of your life. It becomes your blood, too.
You will not achieve your goals without hard work. That is why we at SYPC believe in sweat.
Sweat for me is the outcome of hard work. Some days you will have the feeling that you will not be able to do it, that the workout is just too hard. But then take little steps and nevertheless move – because forward is forward.
Probably the most unbelievable time of my life. I have seen so many good things happening to you ladies (babies, marriages, new jobs), but I have also seen the big and little tragedies in life (cancer fights, death) and the tears related to it. I want to continue to build with you. I want to push you and expand your limits, I want to help you to shape, I want to support you find the right mindset and mental strength to achieve everything in life. I love what I do. There might be a lot of workouts out there, but at SYPC you find training from the heart. The last 3 years and the next 10 years. I will share some very personal thoughts the next few days here on Facebook and also on the blog. The last weeks have been hard (and therefore the album title from Cash Cash above makes a lot of sense) – and I want to be open about it.
Have fun during the long weekend – and then return to your workout. Because this is where you belong to.
