STILL CANNOT BELIEVE IT: OUR SYPC BARRE PICTURE ON PAGE 1. MY PERSONAL THOUGHTS ON THIS ACHIEVEMENT
To understand how I feel at the moment, you need to think like a professional athlete that has trained for days, months and years and finally had a big victory. This is how I feel at the moment. So proud – and at the same time so relieved. It is my personal proof that I can change the fitness industry radically and with high speed.
For the moment, I would like to take you back to 2013 when I had to listen to the Munich Vermieter, to fitness colleagues, to trainers telling me that such a concept that I had in my head would never work.
I did it nevertheless. Because of one woman that made me do it. That supported my dream. I will also tell you this story.
So why SYPC at a time when nobody even knew about boutique fitness in the German-speaking market? Easy answer: because I wanted to disrupt. I did not only want to think outside the box, I thought as if there was no box. And I can only encourage you to do this, too. Follow your dream. And dream huge. Realize that hard times will help you to crush your goals.
We started in 2014 and built this new fitness segment from the first publication in VOGUE (Nov. 2014) to the market break through with the publication in BUNTE with SYPC as the top trend for 2015. You might understand that I have tears in my eyes when I see my company now in WELT AM SONNTAG.
I can only say thank you.
I will promise with all of my heart that SYPC will continue to do what it stands for:
– Results drive, highly effective classes
– It will always be professional, run by a fitness pro and with benchmark trainers
– I bring the US spirit to Munich – it is just too deep inside of me
– And I love the stylish, elegant New York loft atmosphere that we have in our studios
– And no, we are not just your typical gym
Ladies, wait and see what the future will bring. And in the meantime, be an athlete 24/7. You are not only a superwoman in the studio, as an athlete every choice that you make affects your daily performance and the final outcome. From what you eat to when you go to bed. Get comfortable being uncomfortable. And remind yourself: YOU DID NOT SHOW UP AT SYPC TO SWEAT, TO WORK YOUR BUTT OFF OR TO PUSH YOURSELF. YOU ARE ONLY THERE FOR YOUR ONE HUGE GOAL: YOU ARE WORKING OUT TO BE YOUR OWN BEST.
